Use THIS app that is already in AC and read the explanation. It's an older article. But this is about the first thing you should do when taking a car on track. Start the app, place it somewhere where it doesn't obstruct your view. You must be patient and drive a couple of laps. You should watch the temps/pressures if they are too low or too high. Maybe you can do something with changing your driving style. If not, then you can change tire pressures to use for the next couple of laps. It takes a bit of time to lap around the track and discover the way the car changes with different temps and pressures, but running it correctly is an important part of any race car or road car. Then get into setup: gears, then suspension etc. to make the car even better.
