Over the last week in the Mini Challenge daily's there was also a ton of traffic. We sometimes lapped 10 cars, in a 20 min race! But that was mainly due to the short circuit, here it's because people are struggling. There's one remedy for that though: practise!
I don't see the joy in joining an online event if I'm 5 secs off the pace at best or don't even know car and track at worst. But that counts for every series.
Mike weaving through traffic in front of me was a masterclass! Controlling the pace to catch up with tem at opportune moments on track while at the same time not allwoing me to get too close. And then I was left with trying to squeeze through on a wing and a prayer ... that was some serious racecraft!
My main problem: I can't get that thing off the liine. I've had pole in every race but 1, and I've never made it to t1 better than 3rd ... no idea what I'm missing and I spent an hour watching start replays yesterday and then next race Leo just blows by me at start again ... argh!
