I don't know why anyone would choose to sim in an F1 setup, as they sit like that because it is a constraint of the car's ultra-design and has almost zero to do with driver comfort (other than custom molded seats). GT posture gives you more relaxed yet strong control over the wheel by having it within easy reach of your arms.
