Make less painful races !

After races where I'm sure I've been taken out and am eager to watch the replay to vent against another driver, often it turns out to be 50/50 or at least understandable.  Good to learn from other people's mistakes as well as my own.

Racing in the same series, I get a feel for which drivers I trust and which ones I don't.

If you have a consistently high incident count, it's probably you.

I agree with this.

You got rear end 5x times from the guy behind you? Why was he behind you the whole time? It is probably because you are slower and he is trying to pass you. If you are faster than him, he should not be in your mirrors rear ending you. After 2 laps, you should be able to put a gap on on him.

I have 50 race starts and average less than 1.4 incidents per race.

Since I have experience driving my own car in real life on a track, I treat SRS races similarly. In real life, I cannot afford to crash my car or have an on track incident. The number one goal is car and self preservation.

My goal is not to win the race, but to finish the race cleanly without incidents. This means being aware of the drivers around me. If someone is too aggressive, I let them pass and see if i can keep up and force them to make an error by putting the pressure on from behind. Many times I find drivers that are only fast for a few laps but are not consistent. I can usually pressure them into crashing or spinning off track. However, if they pull away from after I let them pass, it means they are faster and should be in front of me, not behind me rear ending me 5x through a race trying to pass me.
