Now, strictly between me and you and don't tell anyone ... but last week when I was trying to figure out what went wrong with my G27 stuff, I clamped the bits to a table and put the pedals on some carpet ... and pulled over my desk chair to pick and poke at the electrical innards. Every once in a while, I'd turn it on and it was OFF TO THE RACES with me hanging on the wheel for dear life and my butt and feet going in (mostly) opposite directions.
AT my age, I could break a hip doing that ... so I'm better off wrapping the Logitech in a cats cradle of steel.
By accident of design, my rig will stand on its nose. Although I used steel tube, it's really not very heavy. The MGB seat I'm using does fold forward (as if the MGB is a 4 place automobile ) , and the screen is very easily removed ... I suppose I could stow it in a closet if necessary.
