Hopefully you are able to join in the remaining rounds. Agreed it would be handy to have some type of notification on the banner. Although, if I am not mistaken, when you go to register for the race it should say content missing or downloads required. Cheers AussieStig

Hey Mark, I don't think the system can recognise different versions of a mod, unfortunately. Its one of them, was disappointed at the time, but now just ready for Nurburgring... That's if I don't spear off to the left under braking.

But the banner thing I think could be an idea moving forward for SRS?

Cheers
Matt

The only thing the app can see is folder names and if they exist, as far as I know. The only way it would be able to differentiate version numbers is if every release of the car they literally put it in a new folder structure. Unless you are actually making different cars (like a 2012 version vs. a 2013 or something) then I'm pretty sure most mod makers aren't going to bother with that noise.

Best to just subscribe to the AC Mod thread and get notified on the regular about posts in that thread about updates that actually hit SRS servers.

Hi,
did the new update fixed the tires consumption?
Because in the first two races (road atlanta and donington) the front tires at the end of the race were finished, but at tsukuba the consumption was very low. I also tried to do some laps at nurburgring for the today's race and the tires after 10 minutes were around 80% (i don't remember)

Yes there is an initial drop off, but the they level out and last for some time. In practice I have been doing similar times for a full 20 mins. Just have to see how they work in the race now.

Hey guys, Shaun has refined the MINI once more with a new version 1.4 update. The brake bias has been tweaked for better balance and the cars turning white in the distance has also been addressed. Here is the link for the download file. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%...Xb3-Z0TUVg

Additionally, here is a link to some AussieStig themed Skins by Michael Martin if you would like to race in different colours:

Well I guess Shaun is just trying to give us his best work. Hats off to him and all his efforts :-) to make the MINI a great car to drive. Cheers AussieStig

Probably best to stick to one version of a car throughout an entire season. This would require the AC Mod thread to not point to the main page for RaceDepartment mods but instead point to a specific version number download page... which has yet to happen... so this seems like a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

Josh, you know me by now, if I find a problem and I am not happy with it (i.e it will hinder the great racing) so would I leave it alone, even if it is used in a series like this?

At least you have had plenty of notice, so jump in and have fun

Shaun
