Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Gianluca Roncaglia - 10-10-2020 On our team site – https://www.4funsimracing.com/ - we are starting a new section, “Spotlight on…”, where we will publish short interviews with SRS racers on their simracing activity. Every Friday one more interview will be added, once a month the update will consist in two interviews at a time. The first two interviews - Russell Sobie and Omer Kinay - are already online: https://www.4funsimracing.com/2020/10/10/spotlight-on-russell-sobie/ https://www.4funsimracing.com/2020/10/10/spotlight-on-omer-kinay/ Let’s take a look at them since it’s very interesting stuff. Thanks in advance to all SRS racers that kindly contributed to this! RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Sergio Mendez - 10-10-2020 It's very nice to know more about the great guys we race with. Thanks for your work! RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Russell Sobie - 10-10-2020 Let the comparison between the first two drivers interviewed be a lesson kids: If you want to actually WIN races, you have to practice a bit more than than during a 10 minute qualifying session like I do! RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Michal Ringes - 10-10-2020 I'am using t150 and i held around 170 wr on rsr with that wheel, its pretty good wheel. RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Gianluca Roncaglia - 10-12-2020 Thanks for your positive feedback! It's been fun implementing this section and I hope it will be fun to read. RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Michal Janak - 10-12-2020 great reading i am racing on G29 which is hated on many places and classified as kids toy, RE: Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers - Mika Hakala - 10-12-2020 I agree, great reading. Particularly interesting was the part about Russell often practicing in the quali. Hey Russell, does this ring a bell: "Usually 5+ early in the week when people have literally never driven Car X on Track Y and figure "oh, I'll just figure it out during the race!". These people need to resist the urge to register for a race." It is of course obvious that you have things figured out and are not one of "those" people, but this was still a bit funny. Michal: I also use a G29, and yeah it could be better but does its job. But if you need a wheel with (almost) enough buttons for ETS2 and ATS, there really isn't much choice... |
