hi im new here and i ask myself why do you need this downloads?
for example if i register for a mercedes races at zandvoort....you dont need this above downloads i guess?

Yes, you only need to download the content you use.

On the website, as long as the series use mods, the message 'downloads required' is always displayed.
On the AC app, message 'downloads required' is displayed only if you dont have the content for the current race
