Where is everyone in the SRS Raceroom Races?? - Martin Warmington - 01-16-2020
I saw that Raceroom was updated with new physics and a ton of stuff. I am an AC fan and I never liked RR because I felt there was no good feedback and the cars acted weird and I hated the microtransactions to play.
My mate loves RR and keeps trying to make me try it again - so I decided, what the hell why since the new updates are here. Wow I like it and it seems to be transformed (apart from the graphics and micro stutters)!!
So I logged into 2 SRS race to play and no one was there?
What happened has everyone abandoned it?

dont know if it has something to do with the new (beta) ranking system rr have to offer at the moment i can just talk for my self and i dont have the time at the moment to race

I've fixed micro-stutters limiting fps with RTSS software, my monitor is 105hz and I've limited sim to 104. Now speed feeling without that issue is superb.

Sometimes with R3E SRS servers have problems. Defenitely puts some people off. I recall when I signed up for a one time GTR3 Bathurst race few weeks ago. Server was down, 20 people showed up for nothing.

Yeah I think the fervor over the official R3E ranked server system has definitely taken a bite out of the SRS attendance. I, too, was looking forward to trying R3E this season but I don't think I've seen a race with more than 5 people yet, and I often end up withdrawing at the 5-minute mark because I would be alone.

I am totally in love with Race Room now. I play in VR and it runs amazingly well. The FFB, physics, tire models, damage and the sounds are fantastic. I think the SRS app for R3E is very clunky and maybe a bit confusing for some. Now that Raceroom has ranked servers and a beta ranking system it kind of makes SRS redundant.

Its a big shame because I think that Raceroom could be a great alternative to AC especially since I love the car selections in the SRS races. Touring cars and GT3 for me
