Incident Bug? - Tobias Puell - 10-16-2019

Do incidents after crossing start/finish count?

In todays GT3 race in laguna seca i had a complete clean race, without any contact. For usual i always drive the inlap after a race. Down the left corner after the corkscrew the server decided to stop the race session and AC then hits the brake and doesn't accept any input. So i got a handbrake effect in a corner and no chance to slow down. (MoTec shows a horizontal line = brake pressure... that can't hold constant like that by a humen leg for sure)

Does this really count? I can't see any damage on my car before the impact and can't remember i've seen the damage display in race.

all incidents count, including after the checkered flag

Perfect! So it's not only possible to get bad rating and lose important championship points by getting hit from another car, even by the system itself...

You are right about everything in your last post except that word "important". It's Internet Points, my guy. Don't read too much into how many you have, because no one actually cares about your specific total. Most don't even care about their own total. Smile

it has it's flaws, sometimes a hit doesn't even count at all for 1 driver but does on the other driver. One incident can count as five or more depending on how many times you bounce off other objects.
