no gears -wtf - Christoph Schirmer - 09-01-2019

This week it happened three times. after logging into srs i could not shift. as a consequence i could not attend, and lost lots of points.
wtf is going on here?
whole system worked fine in the before and after, outside of srs, both online and offline. no shifting or other issues outside of srs.

races: tatuus spa, different times, tuesday through sunday.

No idea on why it isn't working for you, but it might help to use Content Manager instead of the default AC client (assuming you are racing in Assetto Corsa). Settings are easier to adjust in CM, and it'll be obvious if your controls aren't working with the CM interface.

If you are using content manager and have set different control schemes for different cars (the "car-specific controls" setting) they won't work.
It happened to me too: I join and can't shift; what I've done was to change the control scheme in the settings->assetto corsa->controls menu.

Other times I couldn't shift because I had a controller connected to the PC so I had to disconnect the controller, disconnect from the race and then rejoin.

I hope it helps
