Project Cars 2 series - Thomas Graver - 06-15-2019

Hello,

First of all, I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this.

I'm seeing Project Cars series in the current standings menu. When I signed up, I ticked Assetto Corsa but I think that was all.
Do I need to do something specific to have information on those races?

I'd like to do some ovals Smile

PCars 2 is still being tested.

Totally awesome!

I enjoy that sim a lot and thought it0's a pity there's so little variety in populated servers. Very cool to hear that may change Smile

IT would be great, both ovals and GT3.

RE: Project Cars 2 series - Pawel Kusmierek - 06-21-2019

No GT3 please!!!!!

most online races in PC2 are GT3. Some occasional GTE or LMP.  Modern formula sometimes. Most likely in Spa or Monza or Laguna Seca or Glen. A little Donnigton, Imola, Algarve (and I dislike these three). Some oval races usually ending in massive crashes.

Other classes are used very rarely and if they are, there is often like 3 people in the race.

I am rooting for PC2 in SRS for these reasons:

1. more populated races other than GT3

2. more online races with interesting weather

3. more races on other tracks

4. races with fewer crashes
(what happens now is:

 https://youtu.be/rBmQsHmZNjk etc)

So please Formula Rookie (which is more or less copy of Formula Ford), or Caterhams, or historic formulas, at Brands Hatch or other fun tracks, sometimes in the rain.

(OK, sometimes interesting classes are used, but far more rarely than GT3 or LMP, e.g. https://youtu.be/p3pL8WnnHac   https://youtu.be/IrDa47oORAQ

By the way, if PC2 in SRS does happen, do not rely on the game to save replays for protests. There is no auto-save, and the "Save replay" button appears after races only for a short time, sometimes not at all. One of several annoying deficiencies of this generally really good game.

It is great that SRS even considers PC2. The game may get a second life because of it, considering it has some very interesting series, especially the historic ones.

For GT3 and other series featured in AC, RaceRoom I guess anything else will be better than PC2. I`m hoping for Le Mans, some spec series and street racing.

Endurance in PC2 is flawed since fuel saving model is all wrong and most if not 90% people cannot cope with rainy weather or even slighly changing track temps for that matter.

Renault clio's series in PC2 would be amazing.
