'Device Connected' never takes over - Clive Brittain - 05-19-2019

Normally...
- register for race
- click join with 2.30 left to go
- wait for game to load to 'click any button to continue', I click
- it goes into main menu, pauses and then 'device connected' comes up on top of screen and it takes me into the SRS server
Now...
- wait for game to load to  'click any button to continue', I click
- it just goes to the main menu and stays there and doesnt bring me into SRS server.
Any ideas, I havent reinstalled SRS but I have verified game?!

delete the launcher data folder at mydocs/assetto corsa.
You can also join directly by AC lobby, just search simracingsystem

sorry i should have specified this was for Raceroom, does the solution still apply?

that usually happens when users have launch parameters set on steam.
They should be on SRS profile not on steam.
Check if you have parameters set on steam.

i do actually, just recently for the new HUD system, 
great customer support, its the 2nd time my problem has been solved straight away, 
I havent donated to SRS since I joined but I will now,
