Does Incident Average influence the server participation? - Peter Mathen - 01-27-2019

I started again with SRS racing but I don't understand the system behind the incident average.
In some races I have one person behind me who is consistently bumping in the first lap in my back, even if there is no way to go faster because it's the first lap where all are lining more or less up.
If I look at the incident average of this racer it's mostly 4.x or 5.x
I thought that the incident average is also used to sort the server participants but it seems that it's only sorted by rating.

AFAIK, first race of the championship is sorted by rating, the rest by point won in that championship. Incident average doesn't play part in sorting.

Incidents have some untold affect on rating, and once championship points are gained in the first race in a series, sorting is done MOSTLY by championship points, but the rating still has some untold affect on it as well.
