Can I just mention, I highly suggest you test the Ginetta @ Thruxton. Josh Martin obviously didn't do any testing, as these tyres are not built for a track like Thruxton. Put it this way, they use a special compound IRL as it is so fast and so abrasive, two laps and your tyres are toast, so come the end of the race, it will be Dancing on Ice (or rims) HA HA HA

Best get some practice in. Been spending alot of time on knacked tires this week!

RE: The JM Ginetta Junior Championship - Alex Leif - 10-05-2018

Might have to have a cheeky practice session in that case!

Nice race. Think they key is learning where church is!

Was looking forward to fighting Alex but nice recovery drive.
Ilya kept me on my toes not to make any mistakes

totaly crazy race, on most brave is bigger then driving capabilities

RE: The JM Ginetta Junior Championship - Alex Leif - 10-05-2018

Well done Michael! Fantastic drive man Smile

My own mistake from the lead (after which I had to find reverse, you know it is going badly when you need reverse in a racing car!), put me down into 12th I think some 23 seconds behind you. Was still the same gap every time I looked, never closed even one second on the leader lol.

Recovered to about 5th then on the last lap was closing Tim Cullingworth on the back straight and misjudged the speed difference, by the time I realised I wasn't going to make it inside Tim and lifted it was too late, very sorry for that once again. OFC pulled over to wait as I couldn't rightly finish above Tim after that, then lost the back end on the grass and even more time
:S

Edit: not sure what you guys are doing with your tyres lol! I found them absolutely fine right to the end. Took about 4 or 5 laps before they even reached maximum grip iirc

RE: The JM Ginetta Junior Championship - Michael Martin - 10-05-2018

Never a good day when you need reverse.
Poor Tim keeps getting clattered. I walloped him in the first race.
Think I was overly cautious into the first chicane. Was paranoid I would lock up and take you out.

RE: The JM Ginetta Junior Championship - Tim Cullingworth - 10-05-2018

It's all "poor" Tim's fault for being so bloody slow Wink
