rFactor2 and to "steam" or not req - Allan Powell - 07-11-2016

Just a quick question.

I own the unlimited rFactor2 non steam version and have an aversion to steam in general.
Am I able to use my non steam rFactor2 ( yes, I am aware it is a free change over to steam ) in SRS if I can otherwise obtain mods and tracks not via steam?
If so it is terrific news for non steam rFactor2 users ( no longer going to be upgraded except for steam version) with an aversion to steam as myself but will still allow online driving.
I am aware this app runs via steam but its not a stupidly huge download as rfactor2 is in spite of the fact I already have every ISI track available.

Steam is the future for rF2 so all directions head that way.

if the non steam version is working on steam version servers( at the time that may be possible since there was an update for both versions) it is possible to use it with SRS as long as you have steam turned on.
