RFactor2 not connecting. - James Owen - 07-07-2016
Today I registered for an rFactor2 race. I joined the race, but when the game launched it wouldn't connect to race server so I didn't participate in the race. Now I can not join any rFactor2 races. I click to register for a race but nothing happens. I guess I have to wait two days.

those penalties are not activated.
did you get to the lobby?

I still have the original app installed. Do you think that that has something to do with my problem?

uninstall the old app.
run the new app, go to Support>test App and check if everything is displayed as 'OK'

Tried to join race today but only got this far:

the error shown, says you have the app on the wrong folder
assuming you have the typical installation
it should be steam\steamapps\common\rFactor2\srsrfactor2\srsrfactor2.exe
do you have it installed like this?

Ok, it's working fine now. Had remnants of old app in game directory.

I've installed rFactor2 in this thread D:\Steamlibrary\steamapps\common\rFactor 2
I've unpacked the srsfactor2 folder in the main of rFactor2, when I launch the app open a page browser with instruction, so when i click on download button for download app, open another page but doesn't happened nothing.
