Tie Break Criteria - Marcos Riffel - 02-19-2018

Hey guys, i was looking at the results of a series and i saw two guys with the same points, but differents positions at the championship. I would like to know which criteria comes first...It is SP? Incidents? Races? Help me to understand...

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Marek Vons - 02-19-2018

just like they are ordered, wins, 2nd places, 3rd places, etc

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Simon Meisinger - 02-20-2018

While we are at it, what does SP stand for?

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Javier Malonda - 02-20-2018

I've read it was "Sum of starting positions", but then I read it was something else, so I am confused now. Maybe "Standard Police"? ;-)

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Marek Vons - 02-20-2018

it is sum of positions, not starting, but finishing positions. For example, you raced three times finishing 1st, 5th and 14th, SP = 1+5+14 = 20

Oh, makes sense. Thanks Marek.

So, i still trying to understand. At Super Trofeo we have this situation:

As Marek said, the positions are defined by 1st, 2nd and 3rd races...But at this case, Alessandro only has 1st places, his SP is lower and his incident average lower too. Why is he at second position? Help me plsĀ  Tongue

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Marek Vons - 02-25-2018

Because Stefano has got more 2nd places. If they are tied with the wins (6 and 6), another criteria is 2nd places (1 and 0)

RE: Tie Break Criteria - Matthias Rudolph - 02-25-2018

In my opinion Allesandro should be in front, he had 6 Races, 6 Wins, flawless. 100%
Stefano had 10 Races, won 6 , 1 second Place and messed up 3 Races.

Just my 2 Cents
