Wow. There's no better word for that setup than "smooth". Incredibly well balanced.

RE: Lotus 25 - Frank Pit - 02-20-2018

Is someone out there, who may share a good Lotus 25 setup for the Nürburgring GP track?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Lotus 25 - Simon Meisinger - 02-20-2018

I just got a 02:25:8xx, it's pretty much the opposite of Stein's setup. It's very hard and rough. I don't know if it actually fits the track or just me though ;-)

RE: Lotus 25 - Frank Pit - 02-20-2018

Thank you very very much. Will give it a try.

RE: Lotus 25 - Mike Waltz - 03-06-2018

Just a note for anyone tuning for Monza: It looks like rolling resistance is almost as important as grip. So I am running my best laps with tire pressures 4 psi greater than the "optimal" values.

RE: Lotus 25 - Pierre Caillet - 03-06-2018

Thanks Mike, I'm going to try it. I had a hunch about this but didn't act on it, thanks for the confirmation.

RE: Lotus 25 - Mike Waltz - 03-06-2018

I put a setup (basically Stein's setup with gearing and tire pressure changes) on Setup Market, that was good for a 2:43.9 lap.

..auto blip is sometimes automatic in a car, sometimes not, i don't think a server can stop you from enabling or disabling auto blip like it can auto clutch.
