....and a full server of gung ho racers who hung on for a LONG time waiting for some admin intervention. Surely there must be/should be some recourse for the stranded racers to provide notification to the admins when their primary service offering (putting on a race) fails to launch. It is now after the fact so, at the least, there must be some way to reschedule this race and the discarded 935 Le Mans race from a few days ago (server disconnected in last lap).

Did everyone pit? I've seen this happen before and what fixed it was that everyone out on the track teleported to pit and viola, instant session end. Just a shot in the dark, anyway.

I'm pretty sure that not everyone pitted at the end of the practice time. I teleported to the pit when time ran out and then most of us were stuck in the pit, engines idling, gearshift working but no throttle and the Drive button was not active. However, there were a few people who could leave the pit and drive. The 'Practice Ended' text stayed at the top of the screen. Many of us left the server and pressed Join again and reconnected. Once we did that, we could drive but the server was still stuck at the end of practice. Normally, there are some people who just stay driving in the practice session, then the screen fades to black and then you are in the qualy session. But not this time.

I've seen some strange things happening, 2 practices instead of one, results not being generated at the end of the session and now apparently not even leaving practice (this one was a first).
Our schedule is tight so no room for reschedules.

when its stuck in practice, leaving the server and returning enables you to take another lap after you're in the pit, this usually ends the current session. It's worked several times for me.

Surely there could be some allowance for this type of occurance to re run the race in the place of one of the races which has the same race multuple times per day all week long. As we have missed the only race at a very special track, in a race series which has only one single slot in the entire week. I mean we really don't need 5 races per day on the MX5, why not drop the 7pm race tomorrow and re run the Escort race?
