National Championships coming to SRS! - simracingsystem - 01-21-2018

We are pleased to announce a new type of competition starting next season (12/02/2018): National Championships!
These championships shall be restricted by nationality.
We will start with 3 Championships (Assetto Corsa), awarded to the first 3 countries on the National Road Rating table. These positions shall be reviewed each season.
The number of awarded countries may increase depending on the success of these series.
More details shall be given when the new AC season is announced.

Well, multiclass series? so lower rated countries can race in lower classes and fight with their countrymen?

America won't be in top 3 either. Maybe it will be highest points for the races for that country but you would need at least 5 good drivers from each country in a full field to compete. In other words, out of a full field ( say 20 drivers ) those top 3 countries that accumulated the most points for that race would qualify for the championship. Not sure how this is going to work and be fair for an entire country. It looks like it would be awarded to most drivers participating for that country instead of best drivers overall.

I was just laughing. It will work like normal champ, but only drivers from specific country will be able to join. For example, germany will have their own champ and only german people will join, then spain will have another champ just for them etc.
But really, the multiclass champs with 1hr races in normal series would be nice.. LMP for lets say 700+ rating, GT3/GT2 for 400+ and f.e. GT4 for 200+ in the same race, lets say 23 people per server, 5 slots for LMP, 12 for GT3/GT2 and 6 for GT4, why not, if its possible to do so
