I didn't watch the whole thing... watched the first part then skipped to the end to hear your commentary. Penalty is super poorly written... when it says "0 seconds" it should say "1 second" and then disappear. You have to wait until the entire warning for the penalty is gone before you can get back on the accelerator. I've made that mistake a couple of times (and pretty sure one of them was En Rouge as well).
And yeah... there's a few forum posts lamenting the fact that this particular car's tyres don't really need replacing for the pit "strategy", so you've already found the optimal strat.
Congrats on your first race being a first place! Welcome to SRS. I am fairly sure we will never be close to each other on the grid unless you are lapping me.
