In my case the error was caused because I upgraded the package instead of making a fresh install

I am sorry guys, there is a new version coming this week hopefully, fixing all the issues that was mentioned on RD and a couple we have found ourselves..

Out of curiosity, any changes to skin data required for the update? Need to make sure my digs are up to spec.

No changes to the "external" model, so all skins / liveries are fine mate.

If you are suffering from Sound issues with the Ginetta, try this fix. As the sounds are made by Fonsecker, this was his post for all his MODS.
if u experience stuttering or complete loss of sounds of one or more cars, i recommend changing the max channels in the audio_engine.ini:
MAX_CHANNELS=512
U can find the audio_engine.ini in common\assettocorsa\system\cfg
