It was working a while back and wanted to get back into racing.

Yes, I have the content. all the join buttons are blank.

Yeah, it's a funny app-bug.
You need to click the "SRS" banner in the upper left of the page, the click the big "SRS" banner to re-enter and refresh the page.
Should be good to go then!
